On 25 May 2023, our client was charged with 25 offences involving drug supply, including the supply of a commercial quantity of cocaine. He was refused bail and held in custody.

On 8 September 2023, Hanna Legal applied to the Supreme Court of NSW for the release of our client. To help the Supreme Court Justice understand our client and his personal circumstances, our team had prepared several affidavits and lengthy written submissions.

After extensive argument with the prosecution (such as the offences being committed while he was on bail for other separate offences), our client was granted bail, with one of the conditions being that he attend a rehabilitation centre.
