In May 2020, our client was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death after he caused a collision with a scooter rider at Eastgardens.

Hanna Legal engaged in successful negotiations with the prosecution, which resulted in the downgrading of the charge to the less serious offence of negligent driving occasioning death. 

Our criminal lawyers represented our client at his sentence hearing, where it was successfully argued on his behalf that he should not be sentenced to imprisonment but rather be allowed to remain in the community subject to an Intensive Corrections Order.
