In December 2017, our client, a former Parramatta Eels player, was one of three males arrested after they were caught in possession of semiautomatic firearms and $650,000 cash in Centennial Park. Our client was alleged to have been in possession of the firearms and money as part of a plot to collect 900kg of cocaine worth an estimated $180 million.

Our client was charged with multiple offences, including, supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, possessing a prohibited pistol (x 2) and knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime.
