On 8 August 2017, our client was arrested and charged with dealing with proceeds of crime.

Hanna Legal successfully applied for our client to be released onto bail.

With his client appearing via video link, lawyer Nick Hanna said in court Mr Taylor was only mentioned on one and half pages of a 49-page fact sheet which contained the full allegations of an organised crime syndicate.

Speaking to reporters as he left court, Mr Hanna lashed out at authorities saying the case against Mr Taylor was “extremely weak”.

“He (Daniel) is looking forward to clearing his name and he will certainly be defending these charges and we look forward to the early dismissal of this charge,” the lawyer said.
