On 8 August 2013, our client was charged in relation to an affray involving the use of various weapons, including a firearm. For more information, see: Man in court over Sydney gun run crash, 9News, 8 August 2013. 

Our client was initially charged with affray as well as dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, as he was alleged to have used his motor vehicle to run over a man from the opposing group. 

The police subsequently laid far more serious charges, one of which carried a maximum penalty of 25 years imprisonment.  

Hanna Legal successfully engaged in plea negotiations with the prosecution, resulting in our client receiving a substantially more lenient outcome at his sentence proceedings.
