NSW man charged over machete attack

In April 2016, our client was charged with multiple serious offences in relation to an alleged machete attack on two women on the South Coast. His charges included:

  • wound with intent to murder;
  • wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm;
  • breach apprehended domestic violence order;
  • use carriage service to threaten to kill;
  • dangerous driving; and
  • police pursuit.

Hanna Legal successfully engaged in negotiations with the prosecution, leading to the withdrawal of the most serious charge of wound with intent to murder as well as some other charges. This resulted in our client receiving a significantly more favourable outcome at his sentence proceedings.
