In June 2022, our client’s ex-wife filed a private application for a domestic violence order (DVO) against our client in Queensland. 

Our client denied the allegations giving rise to the application and the matter was listed for a defended hearing.  

On 20 February 2023, we attended the hearing of the DVO application at the Brisbane Magistrates Court.  We engaged in extensive negotiations with our client’s ex-wife’s lawyers, following which they agreed to withdraw the DVO application against our client.
