Failure to comply with indictable form of demand

In November 2021, our client was charged with Driver not disclose identity of driver or passenger as required, contrary to section 15(2) of the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002.

Our client failed to comply with an indictable form of demand placed on him by the police. The request was to identify a passenger previously recognized in his vehicle, who was allegedly involved in an assault at Guzmen y Gomez.

In March 2022 our criminal lawyers represented our client at his sentence proceedings at the Burwood Local Court.  After lengthy submissions, the Magistrate placed our client on conditional release order with no conviction.
